About The Drug:
Riditel Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure, prevent stroke and other heart diseases. A proper diet and regular exercise should be maintained along with taking this medicine. Telmisartan is an ARB (Angiotensin Receptor Blocker), As the name indicates telmisartan blocks the angiotensin 2 receptor & binds to its AT1 receptor subtype & prevents its harmful effect i.e vasoconstriction & preload.
Each uncoated tablet contains:
TELMISARTAN 40MG + HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE 12.5MG
Riditel-H Tablet contains two medicines, both of which help to control high blood pressure. It is generally used when one medicine alone is not controlling the blood pressure effectively. Lowering blood pressure helps to reduce your risk of having a heart attack or a stroke in the future.
Telmisartan
Improves glucose metabolism in hypertensive patient with the metabolic syndrome in addition to its anti-hypertensive effect.
Hydrochlorothiazide
Dilates blood vessels and reduces blood pressure without affecting pulse rate
